Adda Sue

Physiotherapist

Adda has been working at the Singapore Sports Medicine Centre since 2008. Prior to this she was working at the Singapore Sports School after graduating with a diploma in physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic.

A certified mat pilates teacher from Polestar Pilates, she has taught pilates to corporate companies. She also teaches mat pilates to some of the patients at SSMC.

She has experience in back stage physiotherapy for dancers and acrobats and on-field coverage in rugby, netball and soccer as well as overseas sports coverage.

Her interest lies in dancer injuries and she has attended a dance medicine conference in New York in 2008. An avid dancer herself, she has taken dance examinations in ballet and jazz and did a 2 year dance scholarship with a contemporary dance company. She is still pursuing dance as a hobby and takes regular classes in ballet, jazz and contemporary dance.

Adda continually upgrades her skills by going for courses such as certificate in orthopaedic manual therapy by Curtin University of Technology, functional fascial taping, kinesio taping and other courses. To further her professional training, she is currently doing advanced musculoskeletal certificate with the Postgraduate Allied Health Institute and physiotherapy degree conversion with Queen Margaret University.
